Dr. Latasha McIlwaine is a license professional counselor in North Carolina, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Maine and Georgia. She received her Masters in Counseling and Health Administration at Webster University-Columbia, SC and Doctoral Degree in Counseling Psychology in Education at Argosy University-Sarasota, FL. She's a leading professional clinical provider and clinical supervisor in the Charlotte area.  She has worked with several leading hospitals, insurance companies, and LME/MCO's as well as in community counseling settings.  She takes a collaborative approach to treatment and integrating psychotherapy to work towards the patient's individual goals and improved behavioral and emotional functioning. Dr. McIlwaine founded Insightful Options, PLLC and The Greene-McIlwaine Foundation to develop counseling professionals to assist patients with a wide range of needs.  Additionally, she's taught and continues to teach as an adjunct professor at several universities as well as starting her family investment company Greene-McIlwaine Properties.  In the past few years, Dr. McIlwaine has directed her focus in other areas with her two sons. As a family, they have launched The Greene-McIlwaine Foundation- Nonprofit Organization, Greene-McIlwaine Properties, a Radio Show/PodCast- We Got Options Hosted by the Doctor and Son and Dr. McIlwaine has turned her passion into a business with the addition of DrDreamDancer Studios to focus on the Arts and Movement Therapy by offering art, fitness, meditation, dance, cheer and gymnastic classes in her community.
